2008 Wyoming Legal Services Fundraiser

Please mark your calendars for Wyoming Legal Services' Inaugural Fundraiser and Pro Bono Awards evening on May 14th, 2008 to raise awareness about the legal needs of the poverty population in Wyoming and to recognize attorneys Paul Hunter and Raymond Macchia for outstanding pro bono service to the community. The Honorable Deborah Hankinson, former Texas Supreme Court Justice and the Chairman for the ABA Standing Committee for Legal Aid and Indigent Defendants will be the keynote speaker for the evening. In attendance will be Chief Justice Voigt to introduce Justice Hankinson. We have also invited Governor Freudenthal to give the awards to Mr. Hunter and Mr. Macchia. The event will be in Cheyenne at Little America and will begin at 5:00 pm with keynote and awards to start at 6:15. Invitations will be mailed to Wyoming' attorneys, judiciary, and legislators beginning April 1st. Attendance is limited, so please be sure to RSVP when you receive your invitation. We look forward to seeing you there.
